What's with people on this website

Seriously I have have seen some of the stupidest questions ever thought of on this website sure some of them are reasonable, but others oh my Christ so stupid. So my question is are people on this website really that stupid or are they just looking for...

attention.

Well, you can't really say someone's questions are stupid. Because to THEM they might be very important. The age of the asker always comes into play as well. A 13 year old might ask something different than an 18 year old. The only ones that bother me are the ones asked OVER and OVER and OVER by the same people.

some people do just wont atention but others really do need help!!

I think it is mostly because some of them are just young. There are probably some that are not real smart and some that are just fooling around. You know, it takes all kinds.

I agree that they are dumb and stupid but some might have pros!!

I personally think the "poll questions" are a waste.. after all ..it's an advice site by poll I mean' do you like this band or that actor... other sites for that. now I'm a little older but there ARE some real valid questions being asked in here that can be addressed by most common laypersons,, THEN oh yeah there are some of the stooopidest questions I've ever read in my life.. so take the good with the bad, help where you can, and don't try to help where you can,t I guess...

I completely agree.I wonder the same thing.I go through question thinking is this a joke.And it seem to be the majority.Some question I feel are somewhat more intelligent but,they get asked over and over again.I come on this site just every weekend for the most part and I have to read 'am I fat' in one way or another being 5 to 10 times a day.
I enjoy some things about this site.But,a lot of things on here have been getting on my nerves lately because I have to deal with it repeatedly.

I agree some questions on here are over the top, the questions of am I pregnant, I had unprotected sex wit my boyfriend, really how are we supposed to know if you are or not, that question is the most annoyin for me (outside of all the jonas bros), and like one said im NOT going to tell someone hot to kill them selves and im NOT going to tell someone how to hack into someones myspace or whatever, however some questions may be elementry to you when it isn to them, there are many different backgrounds and beliefs on here, so not ALL know the same thing on everything, so they ask, not all are taught the same thing on the same level, maybe they want attention I dont know, but some really ask b/c they really dont know

Don't be so judgmental.

Let's say that the IQ range of users on this site is 80 to 140. That leaves a wide range of intelligence, knowledge and understanding levels. What seems stupid to someone with a high IQ may very well be an important question for someone with a lower IQ or to someone with less life experience.

Each of us are capable of asking "stupid" questions in relation to those who are better educated. None of us know it all.

Some of you understand what I mean, some of you have valid points, but some of you are the very same people who ask the stupid questions I mean. If you think I am being mean I'm not all I'm saying is some have idiotic questions on here and even if they have a lower IQ than me they still have common sense.

Sorry, Roadwarrior514, but you are young and haven't yet had much experience with the differences in intelligent levels within the human species.

The differences of common sense abilities is extreme between people of high IQ vs people of low IQ.

Common sense is the ability to make sensible decisions. What is sensible to people of high IQ may be inconceivable to people of lower IQ.

Ethmer, no offense, but I think you are the one without much experience. Well consider this, A person with an IQ of 100 meets a person with an IQ of let's say 160, there's a big difference yet I'm sure both of them would have to common sense not to jump off a cliff. Not the best example, but you see the point.
