What's up with the eating disorders?

Thunder Robot Asked by funadvice about 1 year ago, 8 answers.

Not really an advice, but had to get it out of my heart & mind. Why the hell are most girls into eating disorders like if it was fine as* dude or something? Come on no one is worth to impress if it's going to end in disaster or death. Don't they even...

know it's dangerous to one's health? I mean all you are doing is looking good for a while and then gaining all the weight back again...that's if you don't die or get really sick. So please, be open & comfortable with your answers...speak from the heart .

I'm wondering too. Being too young, I guess they don't feel some side effects yet.

But there's really nothing you can help because they want to lose pounds in a very short time. It is unhealthy.

I think if they do it slowly with knowledge about natural food and exercise, they would never get sick.

Yup, girls want everything quick & easy..overnight sh*t...but they end up gaining it all back so its pretty pointless!

we can tell them not to but we all know there going to so theres no point in trying to really help them...I've gone through anorexia and I've come out and it was such a foolish mistake and I guess these girls and boys have to learn like I did ...BY ALMOST DIEING

Anorexia is a mental disease, there are many different things that do contribute to why some girls are anorexic. A lot of the time if a parent has this disease their daughter will as well. Things in the media & super thin models do have a negative affect on young girls especially ones that are insecure and are looking for some type of control in their lives. I would say that being around girls who are very thin does not create anorexia. I think it just developes. Its really a matter of chance, & most of the time girls who have this disease become very depressed and are in need of serious help.

Im Bulimic since last december and I do it because I want to lose weight so0oo0 badly. So far I've lost 8 pounds with being sick and not eating. over the past few weeks I've been doing 50 to 100 sit ups each morning and night. I no even want to take laxatives because the weight just isnt going any where! its a real struggle 4 me but I dont care because I no that ill lose weight because of it. There is some people who say that we're attention seeking and just doin it to make people notice me but im not. I go tot he hospital to see a phycoligist but I h8 it s000o much because theyre talkin the biggest load of crap and they havent ever went through wot I've went through!!!

So before you start asking wot kind of person would make themselves sick the answer is a person who so00o desperibly want to lose weight.

That's not a lot of weight to lose...for ruining your health =(
Sit ups don't do nothing if you have layers of fat...you're just building muscles inside. You have to go on a low fat diet & exercise mainly walking . I tried on an empty stomach and got a flat one. =) But do you think its right?
