I agree with tex...if a guy/girl gives you a hickey on your neck, it's like they are marking their property or saying look what I've been up to. There are better ways to appreciate someone you care about.

um like love bites have you herd of it up basically when sumone kisses or bites you or sucks on your neck you get that red mark it takes ages to fade lol..its so not marking property its someone kissing you passionatley

its when someone sucks on your body ( mainly your neck ) and it leaves a redish purple mark. try sucking on your arm for a while and see what happends
