How the heck can anyone drink coffee black?

Not really a question for advice, but more for feedback; how the heck can anyone drink coffee black??? sure, I like a cup now and then, but it has to be sweetened. I try it black once in awhile when we're out of sugar, but it boggles my mind to...

think that anyone can actually prefer it that way.

you hold the cup and start drinking the coffee, same thing when you drink water, so, that's how you drink coffee.

I can but I need a teaspoon of sugar. I like all kinds of coffee and whenever I go on vacation, the first thing I love to have is a fresh cup of coffee. But it's all your preference!

I almost always drink black coffee. I didn't used to. At first I had to load it up with cream and sugar. Then one day I was out of sugar and tried it with just cream and found it wasn't so bad. So I started drinking it with just cream.

Then one day I was out of cream too and tried it black and decided I kind of liked it that way. So I ditched the cream. I put soy milk in it sometimes, but usually just black now.

I like the taste of coffee but was never able to "take" it black. Now, I don't drink it at all.

I always thought you kind of lap it out of the coffee pot, like a dog does with a water bowl. I guess that would explain why all the taste buds are singed off my tongue. Damn, how useful that knowledge would've been 20 years ago...

I never ever liked black coffee. much 2 bitter for me. but I recently tasted a true italian coffee called mokarabia which if youknow Italian's, they know coffee. It's not a nasty starbuck over processed cup a sludge. It was really smooth. They roast the beans seperate then blend em' unlike starbucks who burn all the beans together for consistancy. I will say starbucks havea great racket! Most of us don't know the diff between a good espresso vs a badone. But we keep patronizing Starbucks not because the coffee is good or that we love pulling 4 bux out...It's because it's fashionable to have a starbucks cup in hand.
