cute is something a little kid is or a puppy..or some girl/guy at the mall...you see true beauty in things you love and get to know...like you see a girl/guy and say ohh (s)he is cute...if you go out for 3 months you still say (s)he is cute? yes but you also say (s)he is beautiful because you get to know them and love them...I hope I helped...
Looking at the Definitions, it appears it is in the eye of the beholder as to which term to apply - with 'Beautiful' being defined more as a physical term (aesthetically):
BEAUTIFUL:
Adjective: (of weather) highly enjoyable (Example: "What a beautiful day"
Adjective: aesthetically pleasing
Adjective: delighting the senses or exciting intellectual or emotional admiration (Example: "A beautiful child"
CUTE:
Adjective: obviously contrived to charm (Example: "A child with intolerably cute mannerisms"
Adjective: attractive especially by means of smallness or prettiness or quaintness (Example: "A cute kid with pigtails"
I think they're different levels of attractiveness. Beautiful is beyond cute. But at the same time, I think cute is more along the lines of adorable, something that makes you smile or giggle. And beautiful is more jaw dropping, something that causes you to stare and maybe takes your breath away.
But its subjective, it's in the eye of the beholder. If someone told you that you are cute, but that they don't think you're beautiful, that's just one person's opinion. Different people at different times in your life will call you both. If someone think's you're pretty enough to call you cute, someone will think you're pretty enough to call you beautiful
in my opinion.. It's pretty much the same thing. I guess when I use the word "cute" It's usually in reference to someone or something that I find attractive in that youthful sort of way. And "Beautiful" is usually used in reference to something more mature... well... now that I think about it, I actually use both words pretty freely to describe all different types of things. but if I had to define the two, I suppose that's it... It also just depends on who you're asking
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
beautiful is something unique about person that sits them apart from the crowd like Marlyn Monroe people said she was beautiful and not everyone looks like that she was different and she was beautiful its something uniqiely special about a person that makes them all the more beautiful cute normally describes someone who looks average but is still pretty beautiful really sits people out
