DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get a tattoo just becaus you think its cute... because 9 out of 10 times you are not going to think that its cute in 40 years... I have two tattoos... it doesnt matter where you get it it is going to hurt... I have two... one is on the top of my foot and I have a cherry blossom... a cherry blossom = life they only blossom for short periods of time so you have to enjoy them while they are there because you never know when the wind will blow them away... and on my back I have a tribal butterfly that I drew and the chinese symbol for mother and I got that one for my momma... either way THINK ABOUT IT... your going to have to look at this when your 80 and I hope that you dont have to look at it and say "what the heck was I thinking?"... and please dont get it on your lower back... because thats the tramp stamp... I hope I helped...
I got my tat at age 38. It took me until then to find one I loved. It's the face of a white tiger, all black stripes with a pink nose and blue eyes. I still love it, although I have had to cover it with a big bandaid (it's on my chest over my heart and a bit bigger than I thought it would be) at work, as some patients get irritated. My advice is go small, and someplace not necessarily "in your face". The less muscle or fat over the bone, the more it hurts. Also, tats are expensive, so be sure to price. Also, look the place over. Make sure it's clean, they sanitize instruments, etc.
