A healthy weight range for you is 139 to 169 pounds.

240 puts your BMI at about 36.. 30 is considered obese. It is very beneficial for you to become a healthy weight.

You should check out the Abs diet and the Men's Health Magazine. The Abs Diet can help you get on track with a healthy lifestyle of healthy eating and exercise. It isn't like all those "fad" diets out there. It basically teaches you how to eat right.

The abs diet also contains exercises and workouts. You'll also find some really nice workouts and diet tips in the Men's Health magazine. ( Seen the movie 300? They had a workout called the "300 workout" - it was insane! but my husband did it and WOW. Hello six pack!)

And if you get bored with those workouts pick up a copy of the Home Workout Bible. It's just like what it sounds. a "bible" of workouts.

Good luck!

you should weigh about 154 lbs. that is the average amount of weight for your height, but if you are active or have more body muscle that can alter your weight. The MAX you CAN/SHOULD weigh is 171 lbs. I would recommend exercising on a regular basis and cutting out breads, sweets and junk foods and start eating lean meats such as chicken and fish and more green, orange and red veggies/fruits.
