Why do I get frightened so easily?

I get really (I mean it! REALLY) scared when I see some pictures like hurricanes or blackhole (all the natural disaster pics)... and I get so scared that I have to look around and I shiver... what is wrong with me? an I normal? and I also get really...

scared when a loud sound comes...(not music though...) I get sooo frightened, not just frightened but reallyy scared that my heart starts to beat, and I sweat!!
what is wrong with me?? am I normal??

well I think it's kinda normal, I mean some people over react to pictures like that, they get sweaty palms and nervous, sometimes even cry because they're scared it'll happen to them or someone they love (or they worry about the people its happened too). Or maybe you had a bad experience with something along those lines when you were younger...im not much for giving advice on those kinds of things lol but I know what its like to get that scared

yea yur normal hun,I get really scared when I hear thunder and see lightening I just panic and wont go outside,the next time it happens try 2 relax and take deep slow breaths

It's really a matter of degree...to what extent do these fears interfere with your life and activities. If you find yourself being isolated from others or unable to go about the business of your life, you ought to talk to someone about it. Maybe a counselor at school?
