No such thing as normal, but as for average, it looks like that is 6 inches:

Here are the statistics on erect pen*s lengths for white college men, in quarter-inch lengths measured by The Alfred C. Kinsey Institute for Sex Research (from the point where the pen*s meets the body along the top to its tip):

Measure yours while errect press it down on a tabletop and measure from the pubic bone along the top to the very end and that will be normal for you. What you got is what you have. But the above answers are correct too. Average is between 4 and 6 Inches. Some of us are longer, some thick and long too. Just learn to control and care for the one you have and always wear protection when coming in contact with body fluids.
