What do you mean 'best'. Best how? In terms of how many people practice it? (Christianity). In terms of the best practices? Each person will say their particular religion is the best. In my opinion, organized religion is a crutch for people to lean on when they are too afraid of things. It's believing in the unknown to believe in something. Until it's proven to me that God, Heaven and Hell exist, I'm skeptical.

This argument that religion is a crutch for those afraid to face reality is an old one. It depends on the assumption that, in fact, God does not exist, but is a creation of human minds who fear to face reality unaided by a greater being to protect us.

It is at least equally possible, logically, that the human capacity to imagine and find a greater being than ourselves implies that such a being actually exists. Furthermore, we can get some clues as to what such a being would be like. For example, the fact that we order ethical and moral systems from better to worse implies that we have some sense of what the best, perfect moral system should look like. Indeed, we find that it is close to the Ten Commandments, or, even better, the Two Commands to love and the whole Gospel. What's more, the Gospel, and the whole Bible, is not only a good development of such a supreme being in relation to humans, but it has an unlikely quality to it: historical, but pointing to the limits of historicity, human, but reaching to the edge of what the human being is capable of. In short, it is strange, unexpected--but exactly in the way we might (in retrospect) expect God to act and reach out to us.

Anyway, to respond to the original question, I have to agree. What does iwelcomeu mean by "best practiced"? The most members? The most fervent adherence to the original principles? And further, must it apply to all the sects or churches in one faith, so that Christianity would include Protestants, Catholics, Orthodox, and possibly even Nestorians and Monophysites, among others? Would we judge each church, or group of churches with a mostly common tradition, separately?

If we go by a slightly different principle, which we might call the "best truth" or the "most inspiring principles" or somenthing like that, a comment of G.K.Chesterton might apply, which goes something like, "It is not that Christianity has been tried and found wanting. Rather, it has been found difficult and rarely tried."

well your question depends upon how ones feels and beleives but the most comprehensive religion is Islam , which consist s of political system well defined economical principles most of its principles agree with modern science ,threfore it is most practical but it also need Islamic invironment to be practiced in practicing Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia especially Holy city of Makka and Medina theft is at lowest level in the World .
