I want to buy a car alarm that will start the car remotely as well. which brands are the best?

However for an automotive product, I'd highly recommend checking in with your local car dealership. For our subaru, the dealer got a lowjack installed - not a car alarm per se, but it gets you a discount on your auto insuracne and helps locate your car if it does get stolen.

Perhaps I'm dense...but what's the point of the remote starting feature?
