like people who wear "expensive" but not over the top clothes like american eagle, abercrombie, hollister, etc. they usually wear bright colors, polos, "classy" clothing. most of them are stuck up & b*tchy snobs, super clean, and come from a wealthy family.

"preppy" when I was in highschool (I'm only 24) were the kids at school who dressed in the brand name clothes...aber crombie and fitch, GAP, the Buckle, aeropastel, ...and also were very involved in sports, not necessarily got good grades, but most of them did. They were the "popular" kids that nobody else could stand

I love in UK and preppy means someone who is in a position of authority in school..

and I've never heard someone as 'preppy' when pregnant, heard of preggers!!
