Hi,
From what I understand, link baiting is a way to get other sites to link to your blog or website. There are different 'hooks', or ways to bait them into making this link and giving you exposure:
- the Resource hook: a list of blogs in a niche, a How To guide, or a list of resources
- the News hook: get to the news first...
- the Contrary hook: be the only one in your niche to find something to not like about a story, or like about a story/product.
- the Humor hook: These kinds of hooks are just too easy.
* Search flickr, or photoshop a bizzare pic of your subject
* Post "10 thing I hate about..."
* Post "You know you're a <insert here> when..."
Funny thing is, those things always get links, it's like people never seem to tire of them.
Good luck!

What is "link baiting"?
I have a blog and want to get more traffic. What is the link baiting and how can I get more traffic by it? I have done directory submissions.
