I think beauty is dictated by emotion, therefore the more emotion you can draw, the more beauty you see/feel.
(I'm not talking about physical beauty, more like spiritual)

Beauty is only definable by YOU. Everyone has different standards of beauty.

What is beauty, what do each one of us think it is, is beauty a standard, is it independent of our approach? Are there rules, definitions?
One thing seems obvious : time and culture offer different answers, globally.

For me, beauty is what makes me dream, it is emotion.

beauty- beauty I slooking into someones eyes and knowing exactly who they are and loving themm for wvey part of them thay have, every little feature resembles somthing differnt and since we ALL have that, that makes everything a beautiful pleae.

foxxy18146, your comment is interesting me. In fact if I read you right, emotion would be both a mean and a consequence. A key to discover beauty, and a key back offered by beauty. Perhaps this is so true, beauty calling beauty. Very nice indeed.

I am very average looking. I don't have a spectacular figure. But I tried an experiment. I went to a club with a friend of mine who is drop dead beautiful, really, she could be a model. I walked in dressed nice, not slutty, but with confidence - and I danced all night, had guys asking for my number, buying me drinks, etc. My point is that outer beauty with a crappy personality or stuck up person is like gift wrapped garbage. Yes, people do notice looks. But it is who you are as a person, confidence in being the only one of you God made, knowing your strengths without having to flaunt them, a loving heart, someone who gives - and yes, I do agree with the above writer. Your take on beauty is interesting - it shows you are intellegent. Be the best you that you can be. The beauty part will take care of itself.

There's inward, outward, and overall - a person may have # 1,2,3, or None.

Ultimately, you should decide for yourself what you feel is beautiful.

As for society, I think you know what it considers to be beautiful. Healthy, skinny, nice skin, a certain facial structure. Society's view of 'beautiful' changes over time and across lands.

It has always been considered beautiful to be healthy though. There are some universals that most people believe to be beautiful, and health is probably the main one.

Real beauty is knowing you don't need to paint your face to feel beautiful.

99% of girls look better without makeup. I hate makeup on women. Ack!

A tiny bit of eye stuff or whatever is okay, but anything more than that... no thanks.
