Anarchy always provokes images of riots and weapons and bloodshed and murder...

But this is not necessarily the case.

Anarchy is the condition of having no government, no political order, no established order.

This does not mean that there must be chaos. A nation in anarchy composed of individuals who are like-minded and courteous would not likely be in absolute chaos.

Government's duty is to limit freedom just enough that you don't trod upon the freedom of other people. In a society where people wouldn't do this because of an innate moral code, government has little use.

Someone said to me that the idea of anarchy was when people believe that everyone would do the right thing without being told to, which personally I think is comlete poo, because have you SEEN what little kids get up to when nobody's guarding the cookie jar? or the poster paints. Its like that.
