Paramore and Silverstein or neither punk or hardcore anything. Don't get me wrong both of those bands hold a place in my heart but not in the hardcore punk section...

Black Star Brigade is simply amasing.
Try The Sex Pistols as well.
Rancid...superb.
Try those for now, see if punk is your thing.
