well one day I didnt have breakfast and I at lunch I just had some fruitloops and then I played tennis after that for like 2 hours. but I didnt do it on purpose I just didnt have time to eat. and by the time dinner came around I wasnt feel well at all I was so weak and I felt like I was going to faint. and I got really sick and was throwing up all night...I wouldnt recommend fasting or anything like that. just eat smaller portions and cut out pop and sweets and stuff and that will help
I love these questions!!! haha, sorry... anyways if you eat 1000 a day you might feel faint sometimes or abit sick and down... My suggestion is eat the same amount, make sure they are good calories (ie no sugars or thick carbs) and work out to burn off more then you eat! its the safest and most rewarding way. the results will last aswell.
At 1500 calories a day with moderate exercise you might lose a pound per week. At 1000 calories you might lose 2 pounds per week but you would have to make sure that you were eating nutritionally healthy meals and probably taking vitamin/mineral supplements.
"How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?"
One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.
But it's not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.
Your best bet is to exercise, eat healthy, and calorie cycle. Always eat breakfast. In fact try to eat 5 times a day but smaller portions. By eating throughout the day you are keeping your metabolism high. Protein is really good. About 25% of calories from protein are burned off in digestion. Stay away from trans fats, saturated fats, and high fructose corn syrup (this thing is in everything so read the lables)
As for calorie cycling, find out how much you need to eat to MAINTAIN your weight. Eat less than that for no more than 3 days in a row. Any more and your body will adjust to the new caloric intake and your metabolism will slow down. Then eat 1 or 2 days ate your maintain.
