Does offering his jacket mean he's interested?

ok heres the deal if a guy offers his jacket and tells you to wear it to after he sees that your cold does it mean if you take it your interested or does it mean hes trying to be nice?

your overthinking it you usually take it if your cold it's common sense...because you don't want to be frezing in my opinion he's stupid to give you his coat cause then he will be cold.. but usually I think it means he likes you

Well we hope all our acquaintances like us. Being liked by someone does not mean they would like to become more than friends. You must like someone just to be friends. So I'm betting that this guy probably is a very nice person and would do this for his other friends too and he should.
