you won't belive this but I know because I've asked many honest vets. most won't tell you because they don't want to scare you but it's truw in many places.
They store the bodies in toxic tanks, or tall tanks and after they have enough they pour them into a huge cement box and burn them. it's like a cruel cremation. I would rather bury my dog then have it sitting in a tank for a year!!
Well my puppy got parvo and had to go to the animal hospital. She was a black lab, and only like a 7 weeks old... and she died there, they said they were pretty sure she would make it, but yeah what the f*ck is what I thought... I cried for like ever... but yeah we asked for her body back and they said we would have to pay extra. BullSh!!!t. That's what that is. We didnt have the money, so she had to get creamated and I dont know what else they did... I thought omg how horrible... I just want MY dogs body so we can burry her... but nope they wouldnt let us have her dead body back! That was Bullsh!!!t.
So they either creamate them, do research, or give them back to you. (which I didnt get that option because they are f-ing creeps) :'(

What happens to animals when they are put down?
heyy just a random question. when an animal gets put down in the pound. what do they do with its body ?. do they use it for research or anything, do they get buried? or thrown ? =[.
thanks for your replys !
