This dream is not about an elevator. The elevator is a metaphor and the teammates could be as well. I would say that you may have been experiencing feelings of being left behind, resentment about something in the past, or being hurt by a person or number of people. By being unable to be with your "team" on the elevator and having to go it alone on another and then getting hurt, your subconscious is working through any of those suggested feelings and real life occurances in your waking life. You have no cause to worry about being in an elevator. Take care
Psychologists used to believe that dreams could be analyzed to let one know more about their feelings and their subconscious mind. Then, they did some studying and, as it turns out, dreams don't mean anything!!! They're just a random compilation of things that you thought about, saw, heard, etc. that day.

What does this dream mean?
Last night I dreamed I was with my old basketball team from 10 years ago and we were getting into an elevator to go down when everyone started piling into the elevator I said wait theres too many of us were over the capacity, they continued to get in and...
I stayed behind. I got it the next one and when I started going down the elevator gave way and went all around throwing my body everywhere leaving me badly bruised all over especially my legs. I don't remember it all coming to a stop but then I was somewhere else telling I don't know who what had happened what does this mean. I haven't seen any of thes people in years, and I'm so shook over it I don't even want to get into another elevator again I don't scare easily but that was a ride I never want to take.
