What does spooning mean ?

What is Spooning ?
My friend Travis said, " insted of Mitch spooning you, you spoon him."
or somthing like that.. it's been bugging me cause I don't know what it means !

yeah what cthulhu said, except when you spoon you're LAYING DOWN. so like, your back is facing him and he's hugging you from behind while laying down.. it's also considered a sex position but that's whole other topic.. you can spoon innocently too. it's like a form of cuddling.

It's just a hug, but with both parties facing the same direction. The person facing toward the other is the one that's doing the spooning.

Spooning is the act of two people lying on their sides, with one person's front to the other person's back, such that they fit together in a manner similar to spoons. The person who holds the other is often referred to as the "Big Spoon," while the participant who is held is the "Little Spoon".
