What does someone have to do to be a librarian?

a librarian. I'm kind of interested in being one, and I'm wondering if anyone knows specifics on what needs to be taken in college, such as, what classes need to be taken, how many years of college, and maybe how much the average librarian gets paid....

You should go to your city libary and ask what is needed to become one.

You need a master's degree in library science. (It's called an MLS) That means four years of college, then grad school. Are you sure you want to be a librarian?
