PWN = Own, as in dominate in online gaming

Like amblessed said, it means own. But the whole reason it became PWN instead of OWN was a simple mistake. Someone made a typo and it stuck. It's kind of funny actually.

I have seen that a lot before too. I don't understand why a typo stuck? And how is it used around the world? Where was the typo seen at?

this is a typo of "own" which was first seen at WOW (world of warcraft) when this guy said something about owning but mispelled it as pwning. basically the same thing as own just a typo...that stuck like perfectimperfection1010 had said.
