What does it mean to be a superman?

weve all heard the song, but what does superman really mean?

I think it's pretty much open to interpretation. For me, a Superman (or Superwoman) is a person who goes out of their way to help others, expecting nothing in return.

When I listen to the song "I'm no Superman" (Theme song from Scrubs) I think about it from the point of view of the average Joe Bloggs- while he's not going out of his way to make life difficult for anyone, and he'll do what he can to help others, he doesn't have the extra time, money, energy etc to go out of his way to help. I think it's a statement of someone saying "Yeah, I'll help if I can, but I can't save the world."

Well that's my interpretation anyways.

I think she's talking about Soulja Boy...where he says "Superman that hoe." So a rap song, not scrubs...
