What does "camp" mean?

What does camp mean? I've heard it once and I didnt know what it ment...so what does it mean??

camp is like going somewhere away from your family for some days

lol interesting... there's diff camping things. there's camping in a camper or tent in the wilderness,basically in the middle of no where,then there's like summer camp and boot camp. where you do recreational activities and stuff, or parents like to punish their kids by sending them to boot camp or for the army.

if you mean in video games it means to kil over and over and over again

camp is a retreat ussually for highschoolers and under durring the summer months. there are day camps you get dropped off at every day for sometime up to 2 months or sleepaway camps where you go and actually stay on location for maybe a few weeks.

it also can be an adjective. its used to describe screen writing/movies mostly meaning hokey or unsophisticated, deliberately artificial, vulgar, or banal.

"Camp" has a lot of different meanings:

*Camp as in sleeping in a tent away from home for more than a night.

OR

*Camp as in gay. This usually refers to someone who looks "sissy" like. Feminine. Look it up on google if you wish to know more.
