The most romantic way to die?

Out of curiosity, what do you think would be the most romantic way to die?
I honestly think it would be in my lovers arms, my last breath subsuding in a final kiss.
What about you guys?

What an awkward question... I just don't relate romance and death together, unless you are talking about an Anne Rice novel. Pain, permanent absence, loss, and rotting flesh just don't scream out "This is how much I love you." I prefer not to choose a favorite way to die.

Sure, would be romantic for you, but not for your lover.

definitely together. I wouldnt need a last kiss, just a last embrace...kinda like the ending of the notebook...old and "ready to go." I've talked about it before with my boyfriend and he wants to end the world with his death so that he knows that I go with him...kinda weird, but kinda sweet...I guess you'd just have to be me. lol.

I think suicide is the most romantic way to die.

for you and the one you love..to die in each others arms...die together...(The Notebook ..its a really good movie! itll make you cry...thats how that movie ends...)but...thats just my opinion...

I'd say... Like you got hurt or something. Lover comes running to your side then says:
"If you die, I die."
Then you say:
"No you must live."
And then a final kiss before departure. =[

I think I would want my death to like something pulled from 'sweeney todd'.

my lover slit my throat and whilst holding me in his arms serenading my corpse until his throat is slit as well.

I think dying like romeo and juliet would be romantic as well

but just drink the poison & whilst I seize my last breath we kiss and I run him through with his dirk [[small dagger for you non-WOW folks]] and we die atop one another in sweet bliss.
