THE CALL
alone she sits there as she cries
frustrated by all the continuous lies
her friends just ditch her with hollow good-byes
she wants to run but she can't escape
and she hates the fact that she’s out of shape
she feels like she’s bound by...

unbreakable tape
She walks down the halls all alone
her friends left her so she’s hardly known
she waits for the day she hears her phone ring
but that’s as likely as snow in late spring
until one night her mom said its for you,
she held my breath until I was blue
she hears a boys voice I start to smile,
this hasn’t happened for quite a while.
