DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

Do you understand how much you mean to me
if not how can I make you see
while you are gone this summer I'm not going to be the same
because without you it's going to be lame

when you come back from there
I'll be waiting for...

you here
I never want to make you feel down
I always want to see a smile not a frown

do you even want to see me before you go
because when I said I wish I could it seems like you want to say so
I know you have you're things to do
I understand that too

I know we need this time away
and I know you don't know what to say
but without you here I don't know how I'm going to survive
hopefully when you get back I will still be alive

I like it! Good rhyming too.
