Fragrant scrunch, rough comfort, green
Dampening soles and souls and eyes
Black magic blanket, out of reach, too deep,
Smells so sweet, subtle...

nostalgia arise!

Times when life was so simple then
Whine of wisdom, desperation to tell,
Tortured and terrified, unbearable knowledge?
Crisis in the vicious whirl

Pulled in once, can never return
Dignity ripped, torment the mind
This wishful thinking, so unkind.

Life unfolds and slashes our face
All our faith dissolves without grace
Despair and boredom settle in deep
We laugh and cry our intelligence to keep.

Play down their world till they can’t stand the trivial
Until life becomes meaningless and pain sinks in
They’ll cave, you know
Their pain will be so unreal
Frustration torture
And alienated
Make them feel alone and strange
Then copy them
Impersonate their misery and turn it into style
You culture wh*res who love to manipulate
Take their meaning
Put it in a song
Make it meaningless
They’ll hate you for it
I’m happy this way
Not happy in the way you think
I don’t want beauty and smiles
I don’t want to lock up what’s inside
It’s not my head its total clarity
I’ll surround myself in horror to get it
Don’t take me away
Don’t treat me, throw medicine in my face
Let me submerge myself in the crucial values
If you take away my life
My love my music my knowledge
I will destroy you
And then I will destroy myself

there really good. but a little sad but I know that poems are written best when you write them with the emotions your feeling. I hope that made sense =]

you have a really good way with words, you create an atmosphere so well... they are fantastic!

but if you are still so sad 2 weeks later, you might need to go to the doctor, or something.

I agree very sad but very good. I'm not sure why you've chose black magic blanket. It sounds a bit dark and evil. I'm sorry but the rest was really good!
