What do you think about dreads?

Alright, so I am thinking about getting dreads soon... I am just wondering what everyone's views on them is... But please, if you think they are gross, don't go on telling me why you think they are gross. that is plain annoying.

I think they're cute on some guys and ugly on others. but I dont dislike them in general.

I think they are cool.. if you like them, get them, don't worry about what other people think..just be yourself!!!

I think they're pretty hot, my boyfriend had them for a year or so. They aren't dirty or unsanitary at all if you take care of them right and clean them with barsoap regularly.

In my opinion, they're hideous. But they do look good on some people. You should try them. They'll probably look good.

I had dreads, but had to take them out because they weren't locking. Then I tried getting them redone, and a pro said that my hair is too straight for it to be done. Now, I'm black, and a black MALE at that. If I can't get dreads here, then whoever is doing yours must be magical.
