Excluding gay marriage is against the Seperation of Church and State. Being against gay marriage is saying your either christian, or your homophobic. The president tried making a law against gay marriage, and the supreme court didnt stop it, meaning our government is corrupt. I believe that laws reguarding sexual preferences have no place in "The land of the Free." If there is such a thing as straight rights being proctected, then why not gay rights? being gay doesnt make you non-human
Gay people are the same as straight people, however, people that are against the idea of gay marriage are usually closed minded Christians or homophobic people.
I am a Christian, but at the same time, I believe everyone has the right to be happy, and in what position are politics or large groups of Christians to say that other people can't be happy?
Some people marry for love, which is good. Some marry for lust, some people think that's bad, others think it's ok, and others think it's good.
A gay couple who get married, they would marry for 1 of those 3 reasons, and why not? If a married fails with a man and a women, how come a married that could happen and be successful be between to gay people?
There are rights in this world, and they shouldn't be taken away just because of a religion. Gay people can be Christians, God gave them the ability to reason and to have free will. So in the TRUE Christian belief, ALL people deserve to be happy if they can make it better than a couple who can't stand each other.
Christians, or any other religion that believe gay people shouldn't get married is just like saying they do NOT deserve to be happy.
I might be a Christian, but I also believe in happiness, and that everyone should have a chance at it.
Gay marriage doesn't "destroy the sanctity of marriage," it redefines it. What's wrong with a little change? American has changed before; I mean, it used to be okay to own slaves. In my eyes, we are all people and they deserve the same happiness as anyone else. And, I'm sorry, but marriage isn't exactly perfect these days (I.e. divorce rates?!). Lastly, gay marriage doesn't affect anyone but the people being married...this is one of those "mind your own business" political issues.

What do ya'll think about gay marriage?
Me and some of my friends were talkin about this the other day, and we all had different opinions and I'm just wondering what ya'll thought. I mean I think it's fine, cause 2 of my close friends are bi, and one of my real good guy friends is gay. And...
whatever makes them happy is good. I think it's fine, but I just want to here what others have to say about it
