actually contrary to popular belief, when you inhale air, not all of the oxygen is used up and turned into carbondioxide (ok this is rough numbers)
Air from the atmosphere
N2= 78%
O2=21%
CO2=0.04%
other gases = rest of it

Exhaled air
N2=75%
O2=14%
CO2=5%
