What could sharp lower back pain mean?

Hey,, hope you can answer this for me, I know I should see a doctor for this but im sick of going to see him, he jut keeps telling me to take paracetamol tablets when they aren't even working, but does he listen? No!

I've'e had lower back pain for...

around 4 years, it comes and goes when it wants, when it does come I get it for liek a week or two and it is really sharp onmy lower back, it it strong when im sitting for too long or standing for too long and when I bend over. Any idea if I've'e damaged anything?

does it shoot down one leg? if it does it could be a pinched nerve. Which totally sucks...but not as bad asif you were to of torn a muscle of something. if it comes and goes its probably a nerve. Hopefully your doctor hasent overlooked a disc problem. those are very serious. Get a second opinion for sure. I hope you find relief!
