parents and family are the main reason for shyness...
its more psychological
the up bringing of a child is a factor but also there are some that are shy by nature
I'd say it's something that grows onto you as you age. If you're a very socialised person at a young age, then you might not be shy in later years.
I'd like to know the answer to this.
I'm really shy.
actually it's been shown that babies who are shy are more likely to grow up shy...
like most things it is a mixture of both nature and nurture, but some people are def born more shy than others...
I want 2 no tha answer too...but I mean I've always been shy until this year, now im not
theres really not one thing
its all the things thathappen to you and affect you during childhood or adolescence.
things like people tasing you can affect it
when people call you names early on
also when people just cant seem to express themselves openly
it happens to a lot of people, and in most cases it can be overcame

What causes shyness?
Is shyness/quietness something you born with ?or something you get ? What cause them?
