What causes frequent urination?

Asked by fau 3 months ago, 4 answers.

I have been peeing A LOT lately, its been going on for a little while now. It's even at the point where my mom has noticed how much I've been going. I haven't changed my diet and I have cut back on drinking so much water and it hasn't changed anything so...

I started drinking lots of water again. I've aways drank a lot of water, I drink water more than anything else and I usually have water with me so I don't think thats a factor here,
I feel completely fine which is why I haven't gotten checked by the doctor but my mom made an appointment for me without asking me. So I'm going on Tuesday...

My question is - what could be causing me to pee so much? (I'm not pregnant and I'm having no other symptoms of anything)

Steph, probably UTI, but also some other things. Wolf and your mom are right, have it checked out.
Good Luck!!
ps - UTI is easily curable.

Hum...not an UTI unless you experience pain in your lower abdomen and feelings of being full in your bladder when in fact you are not. Peeing blood is also a symptom. I have had a UTI and let me tell you...it felt like I was peeing razer blades!!! It could be many different things...like having a small or weak bladder, type 1 diabetes bladder infection...etc. How often is a lot...? And how much are you going each time depends too!!!

it is possible that it is a UTI. It would be best to get it checked out and get it taken care of sooner than later. I had a UTI and didn't think it was a big deal and ended up in the hospital with a Kidney Infection and that was horrible. I couldn't eat for 5 days. It's good to be on the safe side and get it checked.
