for now soft foods try yogurt, soups (such as vegtable) pudding, well pretty much all you can swallow..haha..that sounded funny..anywhoo..yea when I used to have braces I could only do that..eat tender things..ice cream, shakes for now, until your teeth get used to them and wont ache anymore. get what I mean?
oh and if your plannin to chew gum anytime soon chew 'sugar-free' gum only, rest will stick to your braces.
thank god im thru with that. haha..and well good luck.

I have braces too and whn I first got mine, I lived off of macncheese.
muffins, pancakes, pasta, matzoballs, grits, mashed potatoes, latkes, applesause, smoothies, ice cream, gelato, pudding, salsa, baked beans, fishsticks, frenchfries, tuna, corn bread, meatloaf, pot roast.
trust me, the pain goes away after a couple of days.

What can I eat with braces?
