How can I get my mom to cut me loose?

My mom kicked me out. I'll be 16 in June. She will not sign her rights over and she won't come to any agreements with me. When she kicked me out she called my boyfriend and his parents to come and get me and now she will not sign guardianship papers or...

marriage papers and when I lived at home they abused me physically. What can I do?

Talk to a counselor (school), talk to your boyfriends parents. You have to ask for help at this age. Check out this site for a counselor, the least you can do is call them anonymously and ask them what they can do for you... it won't hurt to try.

That's painful... there isn't too much that you can do that involves your mom if she won't change her mind, but you really should talk to someone (an adult, probably) that you can trust, and trust in your friends to help you. If it's possible, you might try working things out with your mom, but with a mediator of sorts; maybe a councillor or therapist? I hope things work out for you.

First of all, don't give up on your education! You have to be able to support yourself. And education is your power. Second....Do your homework. I don't mean math homework.....Go to the library. Ask a librarian to help you. Look up the laws for your state involving 'Emancipation Rights of a Minor'. Contact Social Service angencies, be carful with this, they could put you in a group home. Which is something to consider... can you withsatnd your mother till your 18. Most states don't consider you an adult till 17-18 years. of age. If your just upset with with your mother, remember your mother is family. And being a teenager is very confusing and difficult times. Try some counseling first.

become a brain surgeon and say lookey what I can do! you might want to try getting out of that po duk town and you might be a little young to get married! one wrong move at this point and its over for you. but you do have your entire life ahead of you so be very careful make all the right decisions and you will prosper! and whatever you do don't get pregnant. just keep hanging in there and remember what don't kill you will most definitely make you stronger. and if you are sexually active you better be slappin' a rubber on ol' boy!
