What came 1st, the chicken or the egg?

I think the Chicken but I have had many say the Egg, well what do you think lol?

The egg

It was laid by the female of a species. During its development it developed one or more evolutionary traits that started its distinctiveness as being a little different from the creature that laid it.

Those traits aided in its survival and growth and were therefor passed on to future generations.

Future generations kept evolving with additional survival traits until eventually the complete chicken had evolved.

But it still had to come from an egg, so the egg came first!

well regardless of religion, creation says animals were created first so I dont think a random egg would be set on the earth..what came first, the fish or the egg?..

hahaha it was the chicken. theres this thing called the bible.

yeah,but everything started out as young or small,and then grew older, just like how babies grow,its the same thing with chickens, you need to check your bible facts...

A rooster, then a chicken, then the egg! lol I'm pretty sure God made a male and female of every creature, then they were intended to mate...? I think that's how it went...no one can ever really know though!

if it was the egg then who was there to lay it?

What's next after finding out the egg or the chicken really came first? Will it stop AIDS outbreak in Africa? or perhaps stopped bush from winning the last election?
