Everybody's frame is different, so you can't take Body Mass Index calculations without a grain of salt, but I'd say anywhere from 130 to 160 pounds is perfectly normal. 170 would be a tad overweight, and 125 would be underweight.
I don't really agree with that book because that would mean that a woman who was 5'11 and weighed 155 pounds is the "ideal weight." While it would still fall in the range of "normal" weight (I.e. she wouldn't be considered underweight or overweight), she could still gain at least 15 pounds and still not be considered overweight. Of course it depends on her frame and everything, but still. A woman who is 5'11 at 155 is not necessarily "healthy," and would likely have that "too skinny" look, kind of like a nicole richie thing. The weight falls within "normal range" but that normal range would go from 155 to 170 for that height.
