One of the easiest ways I have found is to wash and condition your hair the nite before. Towel dry it and comb it out. Add a little mouse or gel and then French braid it and leave it like that to dry over nite. The next morning take your hair down, flip your head and shake your hair, don't comb or brush it. You can spray it lightly if you need the extra hold.
Just before you go to bed have a shower/bath then while your hair is wet put it into a french plaite (if you cant do these try two plaites instead) then go to bed like this and in the morning use a hair dryer to dry your hair (still in the plaite) and then once your hair is dry and has cooled off you can undo the plaites and brush your hair lightly. Drying your hair is not nessacary but make sure you dont brush your hair until it's totally dry.
Hope this helped x
