The quaint name that Alanis Morisette used for this song was simply "b*tch". The marketing around this song was only partly why I personally started to avoid this pop star. I have a mouth like a sailor most of the time, but this song just used the "b" word in the same way that a lot of rap overuses the "n" word. There are plenty of dirty ways to make money. I just don't understand people that will put their name on a marquis above such an accomplishment.

This song was written by and a hit for Meredith Brooks. I am not aware of Allanis Morissette ever covering this song. Probably the confusion came from this song being popular at the same time Alanis Morrissette was so popular.
