what does zomg mean, I know what omg means but what is the z?

Etymology 1

Likely an overzealous typo of OMG, resulting from the proximity of z to the shift key on many keyboards. Also thought to be a purposeful synonym for OMG due to banning of the word on a multitude of IRC channels, which later simply became an emphatic form, or as more commonly used, a sarcastic form. Occasionally, a 0 will be used instead of an O (z0mg) when the user is being explicitly sarcastic.

Zombie Oh My God in certain video games. This meaning of ZOMG was created in a North Eastern area of Ohio, US. Many of the games that word is said by players in includes: Halo, Halo 2, Resident evil games, etc.
