What do you really think about muslims?

Thunder Robot Asked by funadvice 5 months ago, 25 answers.

So I want to know what you guys really think about muslims

Do you believe every muslim is a terrorist and suicide bomber?
Do you think its just a form of extremism?
Do you think osama binladen was really behind 9/11?

Personally I think every...

muslim is different
We shudnt judge one muslim from another muslim person's actions
You can not wear a headscarf and still be a good muslim because its wats in your heart and the faith that you have that really matters
But also someone wearing a headscarf and a man with a beard isnt neccesarily a terrorist.
I think the us government was behind 9/11 100%

So for those who say "I hate muslims"
What are your reasons for that because every muslim is different
It wudnt make sense for me to say "oh I heard this guy raped a girl before he left for church on sunday. He was such a bad person. He was christian so I hate all christians"
Because what does a person's religion have to do with anything?
Nuthing. The fact that the guy raped the girl has nuthing to do with his faith and his religion

Oh and btw not once does it say anywhere that muslims shud kill innocent people in order to make themselves martyrs. Killing other people for no reason watsoever is considered a sin. So dont answer my question saying "muslims believe they shud bomb innocent people"
Extremists simply misunderstand and twist everything to make it sound like it does

F*ck..what a long "question" lol

"do you believe every muslim is a terrorist and suicide bomber?"

Of course not.

"do you think its just a form of extremism? "

It's an organized religion, and I have the same view of Islam that I have of all organized religions: it provides a moral code, but is based on superstition and mythology.

"do you think osama binladen was really behind 9/11?"

I think al Qaeda was behind 9/11. How involved bin Laden was with the attacks is something we'll never know. He's never officially been indicted for them. But he's had his hand in a number of other terrorist attacks against the United States, and has certainly claimed responsibility for the attacks. Whether he's covering for someone else is, again, something we'll probably never know.

I find 9/11 conspiracy theories to be mostly bunk. But I do believe that financial ties between certain individuals have prevented the FBI and CIA from fully investigating the organizers and funding of the attacks, and al Qaeda in general. While I don't think US government or business leaders were behind 9/11, I do think some of them would rather not have their business connections to the Middle East probed.

no muslims are not all terrorists it's racist to say such things.
the 9/11 thing is a disrespectful to fully beleive that a goverment would kill so many. and it sounds like you watched south park. plus when you say muslims are all different what you should have said was WE are all different but really I have nothing against you every thing else is sort of right in it's own way

Islam is a religion of love and devotion for His people and Allah..I am not a muslim but know that when I am in a muslim area,I am safe. Oh,and Bush and his administration were behind 9/11. The fact that they want trouble from all the countries that supply all the oil reserves in the world and use 40% of it themselves ...Ha! Innocent/ I don't think so!

ahahah... that was more of a comment than a really long question... lol... but I think you made a very strong and good point!! I personally don't judge nor hate people by religion!! - btw... isn't Osama afgan? and not muslim?...lol but yeaaa... that's not the point, I think that having someone hate on someone based on religion is just the same as judging someone based on race or status! - everyone is different, just because this 9/11 thing occured, people seem to find muslims/afgans inferrior, but heck... it didn't stop me from lovin my friend sara who's afgan!! - as long as you noe where you stand and you noe what's right, I don't think anyone elses oppinion matters! like you've said, I'm christian... and if I were to have a christian friend do such a huge a55 sin and someone were to see, then judge me for my religion... I'd be like "heck you dunno me for who I am!" everyone is different, and they should be judged by their character, not by what they wear, their religion, their status nor their race!

I don't think all muslims are terrorists. I think it's just a religion like any other religion, nothing extreme about it. and I just think 9-11 happened because people are jealous of how Americans live.
It just sucks dating a muslim when you're not.

It is unfortunate that some Muslims portray 'the religion of peace' as 'the religion of intolerance' to the rest of the world.

You can be both Afghanistani and muslim... that's like saying I thought he was American, not christian... one's a place another is a religion. However, no he's not from Afghanistan, he's actually from Saudi Arabia...

"It is unfortunate that some Muslims portray 'the religion of peace' as 'the religion of intolerance' to the rest of the world."

It is just as unfortunate the some christians do exactly the same thing.

Thank goodness it is only a handful in each who do that.

Amblessed, some might think you have something against islam with this question. Do you?

o my gosh..
I cant belive that you think the government was behind 9/11?? WHO wants to kill inocent people??? only muslims..only people from other countries!!
They have records and records of writtings about there plans to attack the us!!

Im not talking about all muslims. Everybody is different and has different religions. There are good muslims...

but that 9/11 thing that you metioned was totally stupid!

omg YOUR totally stupid!

**WHO wants to kill inocent people??? only muslims**

**Im not talking about all muslims**

your contradicting urself
the fact that SOME muslims have bombed has nuthing to do with the fact that they're muslims

open your eyes
you still think "muslims" were behind the whole 9/11

I think your very naive
and you believe everything you hear

look into it
look at the signs
look at the reasons
look at the motivs

9/11 is just a big conspiracy

so dont call what I said stupid unless you know everything
I bet you just heard it on the news that it was all "Al-Qaeda" and thought hmm that must be true.

"""It is unfortunate that some Muslims portray 'the religion of peace' as 'the religion of intolerance' to the rest of the world."""

Same goes for some Christians, Jews etc.

Almost all organized religions have their share of zealots killing in the name of "their" g-d.

What about the dude who shot all the people in Virginia Tech? Guess what, he was Christian.

It's unfortunate that some Christians portray their religion this way.

Does this mean I think ALL Christians are going to go on shooting rampages?

No.

Amblessed -
003.085 of the Qur'an
YUSUFALI: If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).
PICKTHAL: And whoso seeketh as religion other than the Surrender (to Allah) it will not be accepted from him, and he will be a loser in the Hereafter.
SHAKIR: And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers.

If you don't accept Allah and surrender to Him you will be punished in the hereafter...

That is WAY different from Christianity where if you don't accept Jesus and surrender to Him you will be punished in the hereafter...

I see the HUGE difference Amblessed...Good Point. Thanks.

How did I miss this thread??? Not paying close enough attention. Bin Laden may be a shill... more likely a dead shill. Google Fat Bin Laden... Just for kicks!

Of course elements in and behind the U.S. government orchestrated the events of 9/11 and 7/7. Al qaeda is just a front for mossad/CIA/MI5 operatives formed mostly by former mujahideen and kla patsies. I've been over all of this before, so I'll save my breath.

9/11 was most likely masterminded by a guy named MICHAEL LEDEEN...remember this name!!! This is a truncation but he is too far below the radar and deserves infamy much more than the relative freedom enjoyed by his anonymity. IRAN CONTRA... NIGER YELLOW CAKE FRAUD leading to the war in Iraq, all brought to you by this misanthrope. Again a simplification... just to point you in the right direction.

Here's a link compilation attesting to what I decry:

These are regarding the phantom menace... Al Qaeda... 9/11 has mountains of evidence alluding to the government op it obviously is.

I RESPECT muslims because they are massively mistreated and misunderstood
not to mention the most passionate people
and by 'passionate' I dont mean that their passion brings them to the homicidal monstrous ways that is portrayed in the mainstream media across the world

dont judge the masses by the acts of a few brainwashed maniacs desperate for 'salvation'
