Why did I get jumpy when it popped up?

Was just making some food and...

I was making some toasted bread while making some orange juice and the thoast popped out while I was stirin' and I got a little jumpy...What does this mean?

this mean something like "you know"???

Odal pretty much summed it up, you wernt expecting the toast to be ready so soon...and then it went pop and you were shocked.
