I don't think you should have said yes..I'm not going against you meeting him over xbox live...Hell, I met my boyfriend over the Internet, and things went great. We met up of course, eventually. But if you're in Cali, and he's in Louisiana, and he broke up with his girlfriend that is moving to Washington... How does that make sense? Why would he be willing to be in a relationship with you, who is just as far away as his ex is going to be? Just think about it..how much do you really know, and how much can you really trust this guy?
Yea...well I think that you shouldn't have said yes. Not only because its not safe but the fact that he recently broke up with his girlfriend and asked you is pretty much a rebound thing and maybe he's doing it to get over his ex. Thats basically him using you. Also wouldn't you want to have a relationship that wasn't long distance? I think you could do much better sweety.

Was it right to say yes ?
There is a guy I know on xbox live , he had a girlfriend for 3 years , but she's moving to washington , and he dumped her , then he asked me to be his girlfriend , I know what he looks like , we've video chatted and we've known each other for months , ...
but I'm here in california while he's in louisiana was it a mistake to say yes ?
