Brand new rogue infection out there called Virus Heat 3.9 or VirusHeat 3.9. Virus Heat 3.9 or VirusHeat 3.9 is a clone of Virusprotect, which was a long running rogue infection. Users get Virus Heat 3.9 or VirusHeat 3.9 by downloading a Trojan disguised as a video codec. Of course the codec is bogus and once downloaded you get Virus Heat 3.9 or VirusHeat 3.9, Security Toolbar 7.1 and your homepage re-directed.

Obviously do not purchase Virus Heat 3.9 or VirusHeat 3.9 or any products pushed by this infection. Virus Heat 3.9 or VirusHeat 3.9 runs a fake scan of your system and then displays a scan results dialogue box. This screen claims the user must purchase Virus Heat 3.9 or VirusHeat 3.9 to remove the so called found infections.

Removal tool is located here.

Look at the other question about Virus Heat :

okay, this is what you can do.

find all of the running processes in your task manager:
iinqyl.dll
wuuawkz.dll
eeioq.dll

end those processes

Find the registry keys listed in your regedit and delete them:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E94EB13E-D78F-0857-7734-5E67A49FFF1}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{0979850F-6C3E-4294-B225-B3D3C4A6F2A1}

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\VirusHeat 3.9
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VirusHeat 3.9

now delete the listed directories:

%ProgramFiles%\VirusHeat 3.9\Lang
%ProgramFiles%\VirusHeat 3.9\Logs
%ProgramFiles%\VirusHeat 3.9\Quarantine

After those have been deleted you can restart and you should have removed virusheat altogether.

you can follow any of the full guides http://www.spyware-techie.com/virusheat-removal-guide/ or
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic130080.html

as a follow-up to the removal process. they both describe how to use tools to remove virusheat if deleting those files does not work.

I have a little flashing shield on my task bar with an annoying popup balloon saying system alert. I think my spybot got rid of most of virus heat (if that is what this is) but I just really cant get rid of this icon. my spy shield blocks the web page that pops up so I dont have to deal with all that. I think that I accidentally allowed this thing so does anyone know how I can get rid of it? its so annoying!

I had this problem on my computer yesterday I whipped out the virus within 1 hour with a recommended Free Program go to the link and download the free home trial edition it really works I was so incredible pissed off but when I found out that there sh*tty fu*king virus was so easy to stop I was happy again =D http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html
*DOWNLOAD FREE HOME USERS VERSION* Do a full scan that will find it when it is done scanning click next then it will fix and clear out the virus it will ask you to reboot then after that you are done and virus heat is out of your life 8)
