How can my friend ask her mom for labia surgery?

My friends vagina sticks out heaps and she was wondering how to ask her mum for the labia surgery? she feels embarrassed but she is in discomfort and depressed about her little issue!

have her text, or write a note and leave that house

Has she spoken to a doctor yet about it? She could that way get answers about the surgery and know whether or not she really needs it. Also, if she learns more about the surgery she might be able to have more information for when she does talk to her mom eventually.

When I'm upset or mad or embarrassed I always wrote my mom a letter and put it on her pillow that way she could read about everything before we talked. It could give her some of my reasons first so she knew my position on the issue.
