yeah, you need to push it farther up. sometimes putting one leg up on the toilet will help. usually you put your fingers on the grip (if they have one) and push it in until your fingers touch your skin then you push it in. that should help. make sure you are relaxed, your muscles might be too tense.
Ooch..I remember the first time I tried a tampon. Believe my experience wasn't a good one at all. It took me about another year before I got the nerve to try it again. But it is very important to relax when you do this. Your tampons should have come with some simple instructions. Could you possible ask your mother about this?

Try the tampax pearl. It slips in really easily and try to RELAX when you put it in. Read the directions in the tampon box carefully. Try not to use the super absorbant ones, because they tend to be fatter and can be felt more. Always wash your hands BEFORE as well as after to avoid getting toxic shock syndrome.

How to put in the tampon right?
ok so this was my first time using a tampon. I have had my period since this last summer. I wanted to try a tampon because pads are getting to be a nusence. I tried it right after I got out of the shower and that didnt go so well. so I waited and went on...
the internet to see if it would help me. it kinda did. some people said that the blood acts as a lubercant so I waited. I tried again and I can still feel it in me. is this normal? did I not do it right? is it not in far enough? I dont want to take it out yet because people say that if its still dry it can hurt. what do I do. can anyone help me
