it means " what you see is not what you get" or "don't judge a book by its cover." it means you shouldnt judge someone by there looks, because just because they look a certain way dosn't mean they are that way. its kind of a funny saying lol!

It means you could be absolutely ugly but be a sweetheart on the inside

Just because you're pretty doesn't mean you can be "ugly" to people

It puts the whole point to beauty is only skin deep. To truely know what something is about you have know it learn about it and not judge it on the way it looks.
