my dog's sclera (the white thing) is encroaching on her iris

Jammin. Asked by uberbenny 7 months ago, 7 answers.

My dog and I were wrestling, and she jumped onto my hand, and I accidentally poked her eye. It looks like the bottom of her Sclera (the white thing) is encroaching on her Iris and pupil. What should I do?

Would eye drops from a vet be sufficient? Is...

this problem permanent?

Take her to a Vet, they should give you plenty of good answers. I hope she is ok, I had a cat go blind because w didn't take him in on time. Best of Luck!

I would put a little neosporine in it for tonight and call your Vet's office first thing in the morning. Some Vet's close at noon on Saturday

Thank you uberbenny for answering. It is always so frustrating when you give a person an answer and they don't let you know they even checked back or care that someone took the time to respond to their question. You are a sweetie and kiss that pooch. Call the Vet at 8:00 am

Oh, btw, she's OK. Vet prescribed eye drops for use for a week.

Thanks, though. I was really freaking out last night.
